Just because they are called bed bugs doesn't mean they can only be found in beds. Bed bugs can be found just about anywhere in a home including your mattress, box springs, bed frame, dressers, carpet and even the curtains.

How To Know If You Have Bed Bugs:

  • Red and itchy bites anywhere on your body
  • Small red stains on your sheets, pillowcases, or seams on your mattress.
  • Small dark specs on the seams of your mattress or under your sheets
  • Small skins of bed bugs from shedding.
  • A musty oder that won't go away.

If you notice any of the above, it is imperative that you schedule treatment with our bed bug control experts right away.

What Do Bed Bugs Look Like?

Many people believe that bed bugs can not be seen, that is actually incorrect. You can see bed bugs and their eggs with your eyes. Fully grown adult bed bugs are about 1/4 inch in length. They are reddish-brown insects that have an oval shape and are almost flat and do not have wings.

Where Do Bed Bugs Come From?

Bed bugs typically come from other areas that are infested and are more prevalent in multi-family living environments including duplexes and apartments due to the ability of the pest to pass through small openings between units. But bed bugs are also great hitchhikers and can come from hotels, rental properties or any infested area on your clothes, purse, backpacks or other items that you carry with you.
